The MMC Mobile is about half the size of an MMC and provides at least the same performance. Featuring 13 data pins instead of 7, and support frequencies of 52 Mhz and transfer rates up to 52 MBytes/sec. This means that when the cards are plugged into devices supporting the new standards, they willl transfer data at least twice as fast as existing SD and MMC cards.

MMCmobile is fully backwards compatible with RSMMC (Reduced Size MultiMediaCard) and Dual Voltage RSMMC.

Along with its sister format MMCplus, this is the highest data transfer rate of all existing memory card standards available today.
