The USB Floppy drive, also called the USB diskette drive, is an external 3.5” USB Floppy Disk drive reader/writer.
Computers, both Windows and Mac based, are not shipped with internal floppy drives any more, so, if you still have data on a floppy disk the easiest way of accessing the diskette is via an external USB Floppy drive.
The drive supports both Apple Macs and PCs, plugging into the USB port and has a data transfer rate of around 500 KB/second. Its stylish looks will match most modern computers. It is lightweight and slim to carry around on the go. Reads 3.5” floppy disks with capacities of 720 KB and 1.44 MB.
